These pictures of the Easter activity at church, it was really cute and well thought out. The boys enjoyed all the activities and it took the place of painting eggs at home this year.
We had such a great Easter day...Dan left church a little early to "secretly" put together the boys baskets. Of course, the boys knew what was up as soon as we got home but made a big deal for us anyway. They are kind like that. There was a little drama in the morning when I couldn't find Sam's vest (it's coral like Ben's shirt) and I turned their room inside out in the search. Finally I gave up and resolved to get rid of half their possessions to make room to walk through...I've yet to do that. On a happier note it was nice to go to church and be reminded of what is really important.
I am just finding it a little difficult to keep up with all there is to do at home, school, work, Cubscouts, etc. and keep the house presentable. Dan says we should look for someone to come and help around the house,to primarily do laundry, once a week, to keep our sanity. So we are looking for someone who is brave enough to walk into the boys' room and literally hunt for dirty clothes, wash them, scrub toilets used by little boys with rotten aim, can't be afraid of reptiles... oh and did I mention salary will be paid in Spongebob monopoly money? Any takers?? I remind myself that this semester is almost over.... and life will go on... just crazy days.
My boys are sooo lovely, unorganized though they may be, they are sweet and kind and help me keep my perspective. Here they are in their lovely Easter clothes looking adorable- minus Sam's coordinating vest. Someday I will find it and take the picture the way it was in my head....then again, maybe it's fine just the way it is.
