Pea soup, anyone?

Today we went to Monterey county. I went to interview with a news station about a possible reporter/anchor position. It went really well and I'm glad to know that I'm blessed with many opportunities. It's not something that's going to happen right away but it's very encouraging to know that it will.

Anyhow, it's a 21/2 hour drive. On the way back we stopped off for lunch at a place famous for it's pea soup. The soup was yummy but Dan liked it best because it was very Dutch. There's even a big sign that says "velkommen".

We thought Grandma Mari would enjoy a picture next to the windmill. :)
